Hi Ciarán,
I just purchased the SOPHIA template and am regretting the decision. Module spacing seems off, and there are several other glitches, including making the site bilingual. I was using Enterprise for the site and had no problem with the bilingual functionality. In order for it to work now, I'm having to use both templates. Please see attached URL.
My goal was to upgrade to a cleaner, more updated template then saw and liked the SOPHIA template. Did I jump the gun? Please advise.

Thanks. Just applied that to the English template and it helps, but images do not stretch far enough across.
Have just sent you a private email.

Hi Rita
As you are using a custom module and you have your image placed within a paragraph tag may I suggest adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters which will remove the default margin from paragraphs in the showcase-1# positions....

A comparable page on the demo site is http://www.joomla51.com/demo/0155/index.php/example-styles/example-styles-1 It looks beautiful on the demo site. I don't understand why it's not working correctly on mine. (Am I understanding correctly that you are viewing my site on a desktop monitor and it looks perfect?)
I just checked the demo page referenced above and see that the header image size is actually 1800 x 765 and not 717 as noted in your reply above. I've just inserted a header image with the 1800 X 765 dimensions on this page of my site: http://www.friendsofsanfilippino.org/features/castiglion-fiorentino. It is better, but there is still space at the bottom of the div.module-surround -- space that doesn't exist in the demo site. I can see that there is space because there is a shaded area that appears below the image.
Hope this information helps solve the mystery!
Please advise.

Hi Rita
Strangely we are unable to replicate this issue. Do you see the same issue when viewing the template demo (http://www.joomla51.com/demo/0155/)?

Thank you, Ciarán. Please check the attached link to see the effects of changing the size of the header image to 1800 x 717. The image is not filling the container in Firefox and Safari on an iMac desktop. Looks better in Chrome (but there's still space at bottom of container.) Am also attaching a screenshot from Firefox. Please advise.

Hi Rita
Our Sophia template in general uses a more open spacing compared to some previous templates.
To reduce the spacing above your component/article area you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settings...
To reduce the spacing below module blocks you can also add the following...
For the template demo we used header images with the dimension 1800px * 717px.

Hi Ciarán,
There seems to be extra space in the showcase container below the image on all pages, especially on the home page in the slideshow. Is there an ideal size for the showcase images that should be used? Also in the footer module, there is exaggerated space between position Base 1 and Base 2, which doesn't occur in the Enterprise template. Please see in the English and Italian versions at the link provided. Thanks.

Hello
Could you detail the issues you are having. In what way is the module spacing 'off'? What issue are you having with multi languages?
