Hi there,

I was just wondering if there was a way of adjusting the width of the component and side cols combined so that the outer edges of the side cols line up with the sides of the Sideshow image above and the footer modules etc below? I have attached an image as an example.

My template width is 1070 to accomodate the banner image and the image hover link images which are 315 px wide. The module widths for Bottom 1a, 1b and 1c are set to 33%.
Side col-a width is 25 and side col-b width is 20.

The only way I could set the template so the side cols lined up with the rest of the content was to make the template width narrower, which then in turn cropped the image hover link images.

Not a major problem as I guess I could make the image hover link images smaller and readjust the template width to a narrower setting, but i was trying to get them to take up the entire width of the bottom module and they didn't when they were the smaller size.

Please can you advise if there is any other way?

Hello

Would you have a URL to the above screenshot?

Of course, it's on a temporary subdomain at present:

Thank you!

Have you considered simply increasing the width of your slideshow to match the rest of your site content? An option to do so is available in your slideshow modules settings. You may also need to change the dimensions of your images to match.

I hadn't considered that option certainly. My only concern with that is then that the footer module and drop down menu would be out of alignment. Can I alter them or are they governed by the template width? I realise I can move the logo so that's not an issue.
Thanks for your advice. :)

Hello

To push the top menu right to the edge of the wrapper you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.hornavmenu {
margin-left: 0;
}

The footer modules should not be effected.
