Hi everyone!

I got this error es soon as I try a search through the search module in Robyn Template:
Frontend:
Failed opening required
components/com_weblinks/helpers/route.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php://share/php/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php'

Backend error when I try to click on Components > search
Failed opening required ... /components/com_weblinks/helpers/route.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php://share/php/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php')
Thank you for any help!
Tina

Hi Tina

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Tina

To resolve, could you try deleting the ../plugins/finder/weblinks folder. I believe this will resolve the issue for you.

Hi Ciaran,
there is no folder of that name: see attachement.
Search won't work either :)
Thank you for your help in advance!

Hello

As the Search module has been officially removed from Joomla (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/20637), have you considered using its replacement, the Smart Search module?

Hi Ciaran,
I see. Unfortunatly the site does not provide the Smart Search plugins. Can't find them. Has this to do with "your" installation package? Or: where can I find them?

Hello

If you navigate to System -> Discover is the Smart Search listed? It should exist however may not be yet installed.

Hi,
No, not there. I used a Joomla51 package and installed it with the example content.
So how can I get the smart search?
thank you.

Your Smart Search module appears to be already installed. You will find it listed under Content -> Site Modules -> New -> Smart Search.

I'm starting to feel a bit like Kafka's The Castle, because if you look at my last answer you can see from the screenshot that the module does NOT EXIST. It is probably related to the installation of the package, as it was a Joomla51 installation with sample content. Apparently
- the normal search is broken (see my first posts)
- the Smart Search does not exist.
PLEASE HELP!

Right, third attempt. I didn't change anything, user has been active and you've been logged in once, but resent all the data to you. Hope we will find a solution soon.

Alright. Now I know what caused the problem: in the german environment it's not called smart search but "Suchindex". Suchindex is a very far far far translation of "Smart Search". I wonder why they didn't leave it by it's original name since we are used to use english words. I installed it and it works perfectly.

Thank you Ciaran for your help
A suggestion for you and me: you could ask users if they tried to check it in english instead of their native installed language if different and I will check the wording in english sooner ;)

(I hope this thread would help others too).

Ah ok, that all makes sense. I know some of the Joomla translations can be suspect at best. Thank you for the update and for your suggestion which is something we will certainly consider in the future.
