resonsive menu no working correctly

Hello,
i have installed template serenity on several sites. On responsive view there is a problem:
main menu (hornav)
in Menu i have an item separator - then
1. subemnu - does NOT open
2. submenu - does open
Any hints ?

I have also installed Serenity but cannot click on the main in hornav. only the submenu is working.
So i tried this:
https://joomla51.com/tutorials/template-customization/mobile-menu-linking-parent-items
In Serenity it is named jquery.slicknav.js, but in line 20 is the same
I changed to allowParentLinks: true,
But on my site, it does not work.:(
