Let me start out by saying I have used the free Oxygen template for a number of web sites and have been very pleased with the results. I have, however, come across a problem recently that I am unable to resolve. Specifically, Captcha stopped working on sites where I am using this template. To clarify, the Captcha is no longer appearing.
I am aware Google recently made some changes to their API and broke a few things. The Joomla Community responded quickly to this change and posted a hack/solution (http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=708&p=3103096 and https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/2436/files) that I have applied to my sites. These hacks fixed the issue for all sites _except_ the ones utilizing the Oxygen template. If I switch to a different template, the Captcha appears.
To further test, I performed a clean install of Joomla 3.2 running under WAMP Server, created a dummy contact, enabled the ReCaptcha plugin, entered my Public and Private keys, created a menu item to display the dummy contact and confirmed the Captcha appears. It did. I then downloaded and installed the latest version of the Oxygen template, set it as the default template and refreshed the page. The Contact Form appears but the Captcha does not. I reverted back to the Protostar template, refreshed the page and the Captcha is visible once again.
I suspect there is a simple CSS solution for this, but I have yet to be able to sort it out. As a side note, I have tested with Chrome, IE and Firefox, so this does not appear to be a browser issue.
HELP!
Thank you in advance for any assistance ...
