2. Try also adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

.hornavmenu-bottom {

    z-index: 105;

}

Updating your slideshow module appears to have resolved the issue.

To answer your email question custom CSS can be applied to a single page by creating a template style to which you will add the custom CSS and assign to the menu items of your choice.
