Hi,

I'm using the latest version of Novah for Joomla 4.
The template tries to call the following css file:
example.org/media/templates/media/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/css/joomla-alert.css

This generates an error (404) because the path is incorrect. It should probably be:
http://example.org/media/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/css/joomla-alert.css

This file exists.

I think this is a bug. Where do I have to make the correction?

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of this issue? Could you detail the menu item type where the issue is present?

The problem occurs on all menu items, e.g. single article, category blog, J4 contact form...

I installed the quickstart package as a test. Everything seems fine there:
/templates/j51_novah/css/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/joomla-alert.min.css?0.2.0 (200)
/media/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/css/joomla-alert.css (200)

However, when I install the J51_Novah template in Joomla 4.1.5, one path is incorrect:
/media/templates/site/j51_novah/css/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/joomla-alert.min.css?0.2.0 (200)
/media/templates/media/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/css/joomla-alert.css (404)

Unfortunately, I can't provide a URL at the moment.

But it seems that the same problem exists in the Layla template as well: https://www.joomla51.com/forum/little-issues-in-j4-nina-and-j4-layla
There is also a link there. :)

Hello

This is a strange one as two CSS files that are not found exist within the demo installer package and the template itself.

As a bit of a long shot, could I ask you to try installing the template package (j51_novah_j4.zip) via your extensions manager which should re-add this file for you.

Hi!

I reinstalled the template (Novah-J4 Version 1.1.3). But the problem is not solved.

Now I did some tests. There is the following directory:
media/templates/site/j51_novah/css/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/....

There are 3 files in there:
joomla-alert.css
joomla-alert.min.css
joomla-alert.min.css.gz

First line:
@import "../../../../../media/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/css/joomla-alert.css";

If I change this line, the file joomla-alert.css is called correctly
@import "../../../../../../../media/vendor/joomla-custom-elements/css/joomla-alert.css";

I have no idea why this works in the quickstart install and I need to change it in my joomla install.
The Quickstall installation may be older. Maybe that's why they are different.

Hello

Thank you for pointing us in the direction of the cause of this issue. I have just created an update to the Novah template which should hopefully resolve this issue. For details on updating your template may I suggest the following article.. https://joomla51.com/tutorials/joomla-basics/updating-your-joomla-template

If the issue persists after updating, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
