mod_j51layerslideshow doesn't work anymore

Hello,

I have the same issue as this https://www.joomla51.com/forum/selecting-images-for-layerslideshow
I did install the mod_j51layerslideshow from the template Artisan. But it won't help.
Mouse-over the eye icon in the module (List/Add Slide Image(s) doesn't show the photo anymore and the select and X function doesn't work. I tried it in Google Chrome and Firefox. Both won't work.
I work with Joomla 3.8.6 and PHP 7.1

Can you help to make it work again?

Have you tried installing the latest download of your template module?

If so may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hello Ciarán,

I download the template again and installed the mod_j51layerslideshow over the existing installation.
I see that the layout of this module is changed and it works good.
But I lost all the settings from the old modules. Fortunately I was in my test surrounding.
How can I install the new version of mod_j51layerslideshow without destroying all the existing settings?

Hi Kees

Sorry to say there is no way around this. Joomla changed from using the now deprecated repeatable fields (https://docs.joomla.org/Repeatable_form_field_type) to subforms (https://docs.joomla.org/Subform_form_field_type). Each of these fields store data differently.
