Hi,
I have recently updated to joomla 3.8 and now the slideshow in the template is not working.
It seems to have used slideshow ck for the slideshow - did that come with an earlier version of your template?
The slideshow is not displaying - I have tried updating it or installing the mod_j51slideshow that comes with the newer version of the template, but still can't get the slideshow to show.
See http://www.bcrc.com.au/
What can we do to fix?

Hello

Slideshow CK did not come with the template so was most likely installed after.

The J51 Slideshow module has since been replaced with our J51 LayerSlideshow module (find attached).

Thanks for your help.
I have now installed this slideshow - but it is not displaying the images - nor is it displaying the 'left / right' arrows.

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you

To amend this issue we have added the following to the Custom CSS field of your template settings...

#container_slideshow .wrapper960 {
background-color: transparent;
}

Thank you for your help :)
However, when I look at that page in both chrome and firefox, I still can't see the slideshow image - but just the text of the slideshow?

Just purchased the Sophia template that comes with the layer slideshow. Is there a tutorial for the slideshow? I see one for the older joomla51 slideshow module but not for this one. Specifically, how does one format the text overlay to look more like the text in the slideshow on the Sophia demo home page? And what is the ideal image size?

I don't think that there is a tutorial yet for Layerslideshow.. I have been playing with it being a noobie. You might search for my post to learn what I have learned so far.
