Hello. Tried to use the J51_Ensley Template. I´ve installed the Example and have two questions:

1. Why do i have so many Examples? There are:
- J51_Ensley - Example Style 2
- J51_Ensley - Example Style 4
- J51_Ensley - Module Positions
- J51_Ensley - Example Style 6
- J51_Ensley - Default
- J51_Ensley - Example Style 1
- J51_Ensley - Example Style 3
- J51_Ensley - Homepage
- J51_Ensley - Example Style 5

What the hell?! Is there a documentation?

2. I would like to change the logo in the top left corner. And i replaced the image on the server. But it doesn´t work. Why?

Need some help, I´m stuck.

Hello, I tried the same.
1. Why don't you write 3 more words?
Extensions - Templates - Styles would have saved me searching for "Navigate to the General -> Logo tab of your template settings".
I see 15 styles here now. J51_Ensley-Default is marked as "Default for all pages". If I change the logo image here under "General", nothing happens. Why? So I tested several styles settings. The logo above changes when I adjust the J51_Ensley-Homepage style settings. Why? My default is still "J51_Ensley-Default". Where do I change the bottom logo? Do I have to test all 15 styles? How do I know which of the 15 styles are relevant to me? I can't get any further and fail at the first layout changes. The logo below changes when I swap the images\logo.png file on the server. But that can't be the way. Thank you and best regards

Hello

1. My apologies, template settings in Joomla are the same regardless of the template you are using so I was incorrectly making an assumption that this was already known.

2. Multiple template styles is how Joomla allows for different style settings for different menu items. In Joomla, the default template style is the style that is applied if no other template style is assigned to a menu item. This is a core Joomla feature and something we do not have any control of. If you wish you can delete all template styles except for the default template style. The multiple styles are meant for demonstration.

Hello

1. Presuming you are using the demo installer included with your template, each of these styles is for each of the example styles on the demo...

2. For details on setting your logo may I suggest the following article... https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/template-parameters/adding-your-logo-image

Hello ciaran. Unfortunately your information is not very helpful for me. Apart from the fact that I can of course simply be too stupid, I face problems with your template that I don't can solve. In short: It doesn't matter which style I choose. NOTHING changes in the display! Even if I exchange the original logo on the server, nothing changes. And that for weeks. I'm frustrated and upset at working so inefficiently. In the 'Templates: Styles' I activated all styles one after the other. Also the not described 'J51_Ensley - Default'. Without exception, nothing happens on the page!

Unfortunately not. I've already tried that. I'm considering deleting everything and starting over. I am at the beginning with the page and can therefore allow myself to do this. The problem, however, is that I don't even know why I have so many different styles that I don't even have installed. And why none of my changes affect the display. As a reminder, even if I replace the logo via FTP, it doesn't render.

Google Translator helped me. Sorry!

Thank you

I have edited the template style for your homepage and it appears to be working without any issues. I have also remove some of the template styles to make things a little easier. Here is a description of the remaining styles...

J51_Ensley - Homepage: The style for your homepage.
J51_Ensley - Default: Your default template style, this is also pages that dont already have a style assi
J51_Ensley - One page website: Style for the Features -> One page website menu item
J51_Ensley - Example Style #: : Styles for each of the alternative example styles. 6 in total.

Thank you sooooo much!!! I've been trying to do this for weeks now! :( Sorry!

But then, after all these years, I have a problem of understanding. Well...
- Why do I have to use the "J51_Ensley - Homepage" when I can only choose Default or one of the 6 styles in the settings?
- Why is "J51_Ensley - Homepage" not the default, only activated for one page and still working?
- Can I delete the examples or do I then destroy the template structure?

If you want just the default apply it to all pages and delete the other styles. Plain simple joomla
