Image caption does not work as expected.

I'd like to use image captions which should always be displayed below the image. I can use the "caption" class, but the results seem to be random.

It seems to work if I use centered images with "width:100%; max-width:800px;".
If I want to place a small image aside some text, sometimes the caption is shown below the image, sometimes it is displayed aside the image. The effect looks random to me.

Can you give me some advice which CSS will do the trick!?

(I recently filed a bug report "Skylar Template - 403 Errors". You can use the site as described there.)

Hello

I would suggest using figcaption for this purpose. An example and details on this element can be found at the following URL... https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_figcaption.asp

Hi Ciaran,

JCE supports this feature in the Pro version only. But I don't have a subscription.

Anyway the feature in JCE Pro doesn't seem to be finalised.

But thank you for the hint to look for the <figure> tag. I will keep this in my mind. If necessary, I can use Sourcerer from Regular Labs to insert the special code needed.

You can set this issue to closed.

Thanks and regards,

Rolf
