Hi,

I have problem with Latin Extended mode for Roboto Condensed Google Font. I put in to field Custome code /
Head Custom Code
"<l-ink href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed&;subset=latin-ext' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>"
and it's working fine for Module Head font and Hornav Menu font and Article Head font too but only in Chrome browser. Latin extended signs not showed for Article Head font in Firefox or IE. I used latest version of these browsers.

How can I repair this?

Kind regards
Michał

Hi Ciarán,

thanks for suggestion, I checked it.

I replace Roboto Google font to Oswald which I used on the previous site, and I was surprised, because it was fine. Then I analyzed code from Google and I found differences.

My code for Roboto was like below:
<l-ink href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed&;subset=latin-ext' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

My code for Oswald was like below:
<l-ink href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald:400,700,300&;subset=latin-ext,latin' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

In the second link I noticed font styles (400,300,700) and this was a key for my problem, I did a new one link for Roboto, I checked all styles for this font (300italic,400italic,700italic,400,300,700), like that:
<l-ink href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto+Condensed:300italic,400italic,700italic,400,300,700&;subset=latin-ext' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

And now my problem gone :) and all look fine in all my browsers :woohoo:

For sure I change all other font styles which I use. Now I will know how to proceed in case like that in the future.

Kind Regards
Michał

Hi Michal

Unfortunately it is very hard to troubleshoot without been able to replicate the issue. Are you getting a similar result when you try using an alternative Google font with a full character set? Have you seen a similar issue on other sites that use the Roboto Google font?

If you install the Roboto font locally do you get the same issue? Not a fix but might explain why it works fine on all our devices.

Thank you Michal

Presuming I understand you correctly we are unable to replicate this issue. Please find attached a screenshot of how we are viewing your menu items within Firefox.
