Hello, I have the problem that in the normal desktop view that in the menu the contact form is displayed in a lightbox, but in the mobile view a 404 page appears. What can I do about it, does anyone have a tip for me?

It is about the following page: https://www.lea-zander.de/

Contact form: Balbooa Joomla Forms Builder

See in the menu -> "Request a quote

Thanks for the help

your using jch-optimize, check if that isn't blocking the needed JS script for the contact form. I had a similar issue in the past with jch

Hi FrancW, thanks for your message. i have already tested this and it is not because of that. i have a suspicion that it is because of the change or linking of the mobile menu. because when i change the open contact form from desktop to mobile, the form changes to the mobile view.

best regards
Marcel

Hi Marcel

Just to confirm that this is a template-related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Protostar) and see if the issue still exists.

Dear Ciaran,

this problem does not occur in the standard Joomla 4 template Cassiopeia, there the form is displayed normally in the mobile view and without any problems.

Thank you

Looking at your 'Request a quote' menu item, it appears to be a URL menu item linking to a page /ba-click-lightbox-form-2 however this page does not exist hence the 404 error. Is there a particular reason for this?

Hello Ciaran,

When you click on the menu item "Request a quote", the lightbox with the form should open. How can I implement this?

Best regards

Hello

As I am not familiar with this extension and how the form is loaded, may I suggest contacting the developers of your extension on this issue.

Okay, I will contact the developer.
I will then give feedback here on how to fix the error.

Hello Ciaran,

the bug was fixed by contact form producer in a template file mmenu-light.js (templates/site/j51_emani/js/mmenu-light.js).

But I can't see exactly what has been changed, can you see it?

Best regards

Hi Marcel

It is difficult to say for sure as this file is compressed, but a likely guess would be that it was updated to the latest version of the mmenu js library (https://mmenujs.com/)..
