The 'Demo Installer' included with a large number of our templates is a great way to kickstart your project as it allows you to create an exact copy of the template demo. You may find however that a lot of this demo content is irrelevant to your project and will clog up in particular your Module Manager with unwanted modules. This makes it difficult to locate relevant modules as a large number of modules in your Module Manager are to demonstrate the module positions and would have no use in a real project.

In the following few steps we will detail for you how to quickly trash these modules..

  1. From your Joomla administration navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager
  2. In the search field search for the term 'Module'
  3. Select all the resulting modules and hit 'Trash'

And that is it. You should now have a more manageable selection of modules in your Module Manager to to start working on your project.
