zenith and joomla 2.5

I purchased the zenith template, but am on Joomla 2.5.9. Both template and slideshow module installed without error, but I can't get the slideshow to appear. There are no fields, when I inspect the module, to set up any parameters or link to images. And, the images are not apparent in my media manager. Is this a problem of being an older version, and not compatible with 2.5? or am I missing a step?

Sorry to say our Zenith template does not support Joomla 2.5 and will result in a number of issues across your site. To use the slideshow module in 2.5 I have made a compatible version available for you to download at the following dropbox URL.. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/69136519/mod_slideshow.zip

I've already replaced the slideshow module with the module from Oxygen, and worked around an issue with the breadcrumbs. My client is SET on this particular template, so I wonder, before I get too much farther, what other issues you might be referring to. Can you elaborate? The site won't be very complicated, and I might be able to get away with it.

Issues would be mostly graphical where some Joomla 2.5 elements would not be styled correctly with the temmplate. Other issues may arise with the animated dropdown script used for the hornav menu.
