where is the joomla installer

I fixed all the problems on this post - I have also fixed the login issue. So far so good. Was a little discouraged. But got it done. Look forward to working with the template. Great design. You can remove the post if you need to. Thank you

I cannot find the joomla installer in any of the files. -- I found the installer

Have installed joomla and the demo template

but I cannot log in - requested a email with username - jjoomla login stated that an email was sent but it never got into my email account

does it take time for the joomla site to get processed?

Or is something gone wrong?

This is the message I get when I try to log into the administrator login page:

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

I looked at my notes and did not put the .org extension at the end of the site name. Could that be the issue?
What do I do?
