Hello

You will need the Joomla 3.x version of that template if available. Which of our templates are you worling with?

Presuming you haven't made any changes to the core template files simply re-installing the template via your Extensions Manager with your Joomla 3.x version should do the trick. No template style settings will be lost..

if I do that I get an error message.
Template install: There is already a template that uses this directory: Are you trying to install the same template again?

So, What am I doing wrong?

Hi Pieter

It sounds like the template folder already exists on your Joomla installation.

From your Joomla administration try navigating to Extensions -> Extensions Manager -> Discover -> Discover and see can you install the template from there.

Thank you Pieter however the access details you sent are for a Joomla 2.5 installation. Presuming I understand you correctly are you not trying to install the template to Joomla 3.x?

Hi Pieter

Once you have upgraded your Joomla installation to 3.x you can update your template by simply installing the Joomla 3.x version of that template via your 'Extensions Manager'.

Cairan,

I will do that. In this case I will upgrade a test-site. The real site is a active site. And if I upgrade that to Joomla 3.xx the site is no longer available. So, if you will, examine the test-site first? And if you can upgrade or check what the problem is we can examine the active site after that?

I think I found out what the problem was with the upgrade. I delete the auston module and I can do more than before. And after that deinstallation of the old template, upgrade to Joomla 3.xx and after that reinstall the template. But if I try to install the Auston again it will not working.(I get an blanco page) Also the Joomla51 slideschow is not working. a error JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup is displaying after the installation.
What can I do ?
