Hello Ciarán,

Thanks a lot for changing my template. It is just working fine and better than the previous one and I am now almost done with it.
I have some additionel questions about my site, which I can't solve:
- the content column and the side column b are not at the same height, can I change that, so that they are at the same level?
- the social icons are not or hardly visible, I like to have some more colourfull ones. I looked at the file that contains it, but can't see it in PSPX5, so how to change them? Or do you have an alternative set?
- Also the searchbox is hard to see, I want some other color (and with the word 'search', but where to change it?
- The name of the site and the slogan are now in the middle, I want them to have more to the left, where can I do this?
- In my English menu I have two 'home' buttons, only one is working and I want to get rid of the second, any idea how to do this?
- I saw in the demo that I can change the style of the template (different color), I can't find where to do this.
- I want to change the height of the footer and also the color, where to do this?
- Can I have the same effect (gradient) in the content column as well as in the sidecolumns?
Well a lot of questions, but I hope you can help me with this.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,

Hello

1. To remove the spacing above your content area try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

.maincontent {margin-top: -10px;}

2.To edit the icons you must edit the social icons sprite directly. You will find this file located at ../templates/j51_metropolis/images/sm_icons.png from the root of your Joomla installation.

3. Likewise to edit the search box you must edit its image directly. You will find this file located at ../templates/j51_metropolis/images/searchBox.png from the root of your Joomla installation.

4. To change the positions of your logo try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

.logo_container {margin-left: -100px;}

6. The demo shows example of styles which can be achieved with the template. These are not presets.

7. Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where 100px is your new footer height.

Hello ,

Thanks for your answers. I followed them and succeeded.
There are only some unanswered questions and you didn't give the code for the footer.
I put them hereunder:
- In my English menu I have two 'home' buttons, only one is working and I want to get rid of the second, any idea how to do this?
- I saw in the demo that I can change the style of the template (different color), Where (in what css file) can I change the colors of the template?
- I want to change the height of the footer and also the color, where to do this? You forgot to put the code for that.
- Can I have the same effect (gradient) in the content column as well as in the sidecolumns?

That's all, thanks for your help again.
Greetings,
Han

Hello

1. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email

2. Different colours for your template elements can be set via the styling tab in your templates parameters.

3. Sorry... here you go..

#container_copyright {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #555555;
height: 100px;
}

4. Not sure if I understand you correctly here as we do not have any gradient in the sidecolumn module positions.
