Username reminder not working properly

I've installed Emani_51 on my website and have just discovered that the "Forgot your username" link in the login page does not work properly. After selecting "Forgot your username", as expected you're directed to the page with the message::
Please enter the email address associated with your User account. Your username will be emailed to the email address on file.

However, after you enter your email and click "Submit" you directed the reset password page:
An email has been sent to your email address. The email has a verification code, please paste the verification code in the field below to prove that you are the owner of this account.
Username *
Verification Code *

Furthermore, the email you receive is the password reset email, not the username reminder.

This behavior started right after I installed the J51_Emani template. Could you advise?

Hello

Just to confirm that this is a template related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Protostar/Cassiopeia) and see if the issue still exists?

When I enable Protostar, the login module behaves normally. When I select "Forgot your password" I'm prompted to enter my email and after submitting, I receive the email with my username. When I switch back to Emani, the problem starts again.
