Use of Small Caps in Joomla51 Templates

Hello Forum,

I need help to use small caps within Joomla51 templates please.

Could someone talk me through the basics so that I can dictate a small caps font for Menu and Article items please?

I've not had much luck adding, and then making available, non-default Google Fonts by editing googlefonts.php and adding the Google Font that I am after (in this case it was Alegreya Sans SC). Once added, I cannot find this font in the template pull down selector - obviously this is not the way to access it - what is please?

Would you have a URL to an example of the items you wish in lowercase?

Hello Ciarán,

Well, after editing my googlefonts.php as I said, I looked back today, and available in the dropdown is the font I added!

It must take some time to appear, as, I have not done anything since writing the previous post...

Thanks for your help - I wish I could be more specific about my resolution.

Is there a manual way of 'refreshing' perhaps?

Great.. thank you for the update :)

It is possible that your site was simply cached with your browser however this is usually found more so with CSS rather PHP/HTML changes. A quick way to force your browser to do a full refresh is to hit CTRL + F5.
