To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (edit to taste)...

.layerslideshow .info > div {

    background-color: #555;

}

.layerslideshow .NextArrow, .layerslideshow .PrevArrow {

    height: auto;

    margin: 0 5px;

}

Thank you for the css code for the Layered Slideshow.

The code fixed the background color of the caption box but it didn't help with the missing previous / next arrow.

Do I need to upload into a folder the previous / next arrows files?

I was able to fix the issue by adding the following code you mentioned in a previous post in order to load font awesome into the Renovate template.

Added to the Head Custom Code:

Thanks again for your assistance. Your forums are very helpful and I for one have used it for years to fix issues but more often to further customize your already awesome templates.

I only use Joomla51 templates in my web design work.
