Use J51 template to replace another Developer's Template

Hello Ciaran,

I've purchased a couple of J51 templates that I'd like to use over a template I started with from another developer. How do I make the change? Do I just delete all the files associated with the domain that the other template is using? Or will the new template write over the existing?

Hello

Joomla allows you to install multiple templates at a time so I would suggest installing your new template and the move over each page as you see fit by using the menu assignment tab of your template style settings. You will most likely need to re-assign each module to the new position names as you go.

Do you mean Joomla allows multiple templates for one domain? what if I want to just trash the other template? Replace it all. Thanks

Hello

Joomla allows you to install multiple templates and then assign a different template to each of your menu items.
