Upgrade to Joomla 4 failed
Hello,
Under Casseopia the website runs fine but when I install Layla4 it breaks:

Failed opening required '/home/iasj/domains/http://2022newyork.iasj.com/public_html/components/com_content/helpers/route.php' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php81/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php81/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php')

What to do?
Kind regards, Wouter

I seem to have a similar problem.
"0 - Failed opening required '/www/htdocs/xxx/components/com_content/helpers/route.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:..')"

But it just affects the home page. All other pages work fine.
If I switch to the Joomla standard template for this page, no error.
And if I switch backt to my Joomla51 template and delete the content of this page, the error remains.
In my case, the template is Serenity for Joomla 4. I installed it the first time a few days ago.

Addendum:
Creating an empty components/com_content/helpers/route.php file causes the home page to be displayed again, without any error lines.
But that's not the solution as it should be, hmh?

Dear Fuhrbach,
Looks like a workaround, this empty component but not solving the real problem. Let's wait for a reaction of J51.

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you

The issue appears to have been caused by your icons module. Possibly only the Joomla 3 version of the module was installed. Updating to the Joomla 4 version has resolved the issue.
