Hello

May I suggest the following article on updating Joomla 3 to Joomla 4... https://docs.joomla.org/Joomla_3.x_to_4.x_Step_by_Step_Migration

Regarding your Joomla51 template and modules, simply install them from your Joomla 4 template download via your Extensions Manager after you have migrated to Joomla 4. This will update your template and modules to the Joomla 4 version.

Hi Ciaran, thnx, my first question above about Joomla Upgrade was related only to your extensions. Generally I am informed about Joomla Upgrade but thnx anyway.

Do I have to de-install your news module before upgrading to J4 or can I keep it installed? Will there be no conflict if I keep it on J3 and then upgrade to J4?

We use only the J51 news module

Definitely do not uninstall because all data is gone. A simple update is possible

(Basically, you should always have a backup of your entire site)
