Hi Ciaran,

I purchased the J51 Ashley template for J3 from you quite some time ago. I’d now like to update the site to J4/5/6. I found online that I might be eligible for a 50% discount on a new purchase.

Is this correct? I’d be happy to send you my membership ID as well.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I can't confirm whether the 50% discount for existing customers is still available. Ciaran would need to clarify that directly.

However, if you're planning to use the Ashley template with **Joomla 6 without the "Behaviour – Backward Compatibility 6" plugin**, I'd be happy to help.

I've already successfully migrated and updated several Joomla51 templates to work natively with Joomla 6, without requiring the backward compatibility plugin.

A similar update might also be possible for the Ashley template.

Best regards,
Marcel

Hello Marcel,

I’m actually just looking to bring the website up to date. I’ve already created a clone. Everything has worked out fine so far. Now I just need to adapt the template so that it’s compatible with J5/J6. If the plugin isn’t absolutely necessary for this, then I can deactivate it.

I’d be very grateful if you could suggest a solution. Currently, version 1.0 of J51_Ashley, dated January 2016, is active.

Following that latest PHP security vulnerability, I’ve finally got round to updating the site.

Thanks
