Ciaran,

Am I not able to embed and use Twitter's Developer code for widgets? I have also tried numerous times to embed this code into a module and it will not display. I've used this same code so many times in past years and had no problems. Btw, I've installed and tried to use 5 different JED for twitter feeds.. they will not work. I've had two twitter developers try to help me, short of accessing my back-end. They said it worked find on their end, but never displayed for me. Why is this a problem?

Thanks

A

Hi April

Just to confirm that the issue is template related could try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Beez) and see if the issue persists. If the issue is still present then your problem would not be template related.

Ciaran,

Well same problem with Beez.. does not display. I've researched Twitter Developers and its seems this has been an ongoing issue since 2012. Some accounts are suggesting to change the code editor to "none".. just a lot of different options but doesn't seem to be one clear ..

I'm not sure why then.. when I used another website development company a couple of years ago.. it was no problem.. Code popped it and there it was. Not sure what's up with Joomla and Wordpress. I definitely need this to work as my biz, is built on my followers, me getting services, gigs, etc.,.. is built on social media and its important that I have the ability to get new followers as soon as they open my site.. If you figure out what will work please keep me informed.. I have to keep trying though..

Thanks..

Ciaran,

I found a twitter app that will work..actually used it awhile back but its just not as cosmetically attractive but its all I got right now so I will go for it..dress it up a bit, etc.,

I getting this message on top of it.. But, what does this mean? Thanks (I used question marks to hide url info, etc., for privacy reasons)

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /home/??????/public_html/?????????????.com/modules/mod_advanced_twitter_display/tmpl/default.php on line 13

Thanks again..
