Considering purchasing a couple more templates. I notice that Twilight is for Joomla 2.5 only. Will this be an issue if I use Joomla 3.2? Do I need to use Joomla 3.0 and above.. Thanks
Ok but do I need to have Joomla 3 at all or are templates working fine with 3.0? Remember I asked the question about Privilege after I upgraded to 3.0. If I don't need 3.0 I can simply keep using 2.5 right?
For the time been Joomla 2.5 is been fully supported by the Joomla team. This means that security updates will continue to be released when needed. If Joomla 2.5 is everything you need then you do not have to upgrade to Joomla 3. Once Joomla 2.5 stops been supported with security updates then I would advise updating to Joomla 3.
I will consider that. I upgraded my Privilege although its not published yet. I hope it will be OK. If I purchase Twilight, let's say in a year Joomla decides no longer to support 2.5 and my site is published with Twilight what will I do? Will my site become inoperable. Sorry for so many questions I am new to this.
Yes sorry to say as this template does not support Joomla 3 it will become inoperable if used with the latest version of Joomla. We do hope to update a number of our older templates to Joomla 3 prior to support been suspended for Joomla 2.5 although I can not guarantee for the moment that Twilight will be among them.
