I have the Nadia template and I'm trying to create a 'Landing page'. I can turn off module assignments for the menu item, but I cannot turn off the main menu. Is there a way I can do this?

Hello

One option is to add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#container_hornav {
display: none;
}

As you only want to apply this to the homepage you can add the above CSS to a separate template style assigned to just the homepage menu item. For more details on this check out.. http://joomla51.com/tutorials/item/creating-multiple-template-styles
