Here's my site: http://maumeevp.org/

1. Does anyone know how to set the showcase up to be transparent or to remove the background? ( I want the grey to disappear so the picture just shows over the green color). I have tried using firefox but it says "inline" and I don't know where that file is located, most files I can find and fix myself.

2. How do I center the copyright info? I tried adding multiple Custom CSS to the template but nothing works. (I want my info and J51 centered on the page).

3. How do I add more space below my logo or add a line so the navbar stands out more?

4. How do I change the default font (size and style) so the body of all pages are consistent? Right now they seem bold when I haven't designated them that way.

Thanks to whoever is able to help. I am not very HTML competent and have spent the last few hours trying to figure this out. Although Firefox does provide info for someone like me understanding all the nuances of firefox can be difficult.

Hello

1, Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

#container_slideshow {
background-image: none;
}

2. Also add the following Custom CSS...

#container_base {
width: 100% !important;
}

3. TO move you menu down a little you can add the following, also to your Custom CSS field...

#header_items {
height: 148px;
}

4. Also add the following CSS...

p {
font-weight: normal;
}

Thank you, as always you know just what do. Have you ever thought about providing some fee based training, if so let me know, I would be very interested in learning more about what I can do with Joomla.

I do have one quick question, how do I change the text in the search button, I don't want the word search to be seen.

Thanks again for all of your help. You truly have taught me so much and it's much appreciated.

Considered but alas there is just not enough hours in the day (",).

I believe this can be changed by editing your Joomla language files which can be found at ../language/en-XX/en-XX.mod_search.ini from the root of your Joomla installation.

Line 31....

MOD_SEARCH_LABEL_TEXT="Search..."

LOL, I tried this but couldn't find the mod_search.ini file. I had been looking under the templates file. Once I looked in the correct language folder and found a mod_search.ini file I got it working. Guess there are 2 of mod_search.ini files for each template so I just had to change all of them and viola it works. Thanks for all of your help, as usual you are definitely the go to person for everything.
