Hi J51
First off, thanks for the awesome Oxygen template! I really love it :)
My question is regarding the position of a topsearch module (added by following this post).
I want the placement of the module to be same no matter what resolution the site is viewed in; as shown in the attached screenshot.
I figured I need to edit the template.css, but I don't know if the position should be absolute, relative etc.
Can anyone help me?

Hi rfirevtre

Presuming I understand you correctly, in the CSS that you have added in creating the new module position may I suggest changing the following..
left:660px;
change to..
right:200px;
You may have to edit the distance to your own taste but this will anchor your module to the right rather than the left similar to the social media icons and search field.

Sorry to respond several months later. But basically I want the topsearch module anchored to the social media icons. So that the position is 'fixed' no matter the user's resolution.

Right now the module moves around depending on what resolution the page is viewed in. I hope you understand what I'm trying to achieve.

Any help much appreciated!

Hi Peter

Would you have a URL to an example of your module?

There's two modules. The paypal "Doner" button and the text "Gathers.." next to it. In very high resolutions the modules appear outside the main framework, which bugs me a little.

Hi Peter

Rather than placing your <div id="topsearch" class="container">..</div> at the bottom of your page try placing it just after the <div id="header"> in your templates header.php (../templates/j51_oxygen/php/layouts). You may have to reposition the module using your CSS however once in place it should stay there regardless of the screen resolution.
