Hi There, I would like the behavour of the top-1 modules exact like the top-2 ones. At this point the top-2 ones are getting a nice border / outline when used for placing articles, what i miss for the top-1 modules.
How can I change this ?

Thanx for your help !

Hello

Try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...
.top-2 .module_padding {padding: 0px;}
.top-2 .module {background:none; box-shadow:none;}
Hello Ciaran,

Thanks for your quick reply!
This custom code takes away the outline. Instead I wanted to add de outline to top-1 and bottom-2. Is that also posible in such a simple way ?

regards, Bas

Sorry Bas.. read your original post incorrectly. Instead try adding the following to your Custom CSS field...
.top-1 .module_padding, .bottom-2 .module_padding {
padding: 15px 15px 5px;
}
.top-1 .module, .bottom-2 .module {
-moz-border-radius: 5px; /* from vector shape */
-webkit-border-radius: 5px; /* from vector shape */
border-radius: 5px; /* from vector shape */
-moz-background-clip: padding;
-webkit-background-clip: padding-box;
background-clip: padding-box; /* prevents bg color from leaking outside the border */
-moz-box-shadow: inset 0 0 0 1px rgba(0,0,0,.18); /* inner shadow */
-webkit-box-shadow: inset 0 0 0 1px rgba(0,0,0,.18); /* inner shadow */
box-shadow: inset 0 0 0 1px rgba(0,0,0,.18); /* inner shadow */
background-image: url(data:image/svg+xml;base64,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); /* gradient overlay */

Hello Ciaran,

In now notice a difference in the margin inside module positions (padding?)
The margin of the changed modules is smaller than the top-2 standard margin. How can i adjust this ? (see attachement)

Thanks, Bas

Hi Bas

Would you have a URL to an example of this module? You can email to info@joomla51.com if you do not wish to post it publicly.

Hello Ciaran,

I now test on a local machine with wampserver so cannot publish yet.
I use a clean joomla 2.5.8 install without example data.

The margins you see in the attachement of my last message are default. The arrow marks the different smaller margins. Are the padding values in de custom CSS part different from the default ?

Thanks, Bas

Hello Ciaran,

I solved the margin issue by putting the code into nexus.css in stead off custom CSS field.
