Top horizontal menu on Amelia template

Hi Ciaran
Please can you help. I'm using the Amelia template to build an ecommerce site, and would like to have a horizontal top menu above the showcase module (so in other words right on top of the screen) that will display the login, logout and cart details as in the attached image. Please can you instruct me on how to do this.
