Thumbs gallery question

In the Thumbs Gallery extension it would be really helpful to be able to have custom text appear in the place of "1 of X images". (I'm using it for a gallery of portraits and would like to have the subject's name appear in that spot.) Is there any way of achieving that with custom code?

Sorry to say at present this option is not currently available with our ThumbsGallery module.
