I replicated your use of the code too put a thumbs gallery on an article page. It did not working even though I used the same article & just linked a different gallery. Do you have a tutorial somewhere.

Have you tried the following Joomla article.. https://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_put_a_module_inside_an_article%3F

Ensure that your module is assigned to the menu item you wish for it to appear in.
