Hello,

I have the following situation

<div class="customers-say">

<div class="customers-say__reviews">

{loadmoduleid 102}

</div>

</div>

Where the module is the Testimonials module. Ideally I'd like to center, reduce and position the module to the right, over a background image. However as soon as I apply the initial flexbox code:

.customers-say{
display: flex;
}
.customers-say__reviews{
flex:1;
}

The testimonial module expands in width 7000px+ off the page - please see attached image.

I'll sent the link to the site via email, as I don't want links back to my staging area.

Many thanks
Marc

Hello Ciaran,

Sorry, couldn't wait as I needed to complete this website. I've now removed the Testimonials Extension and admin access from the URL I sent you.

When I have time, I'll install a new website and this extension again. But, fyi, I've seen this behavior several times with this extension, on several of my websites - as soon as it's wrapped in a simple Flex container.

Thanks
Marc

Hi Marc

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Hi Marc

Flex containers will convert its direct ascendants to flex items which will likely affect the layout. Feel free to ping me when you have a live example available and I will examine the issue further.

As flex containers beyond the children are not part of flex layout and will not accept flex properties it may be worth trying wrapping your module in a further div...

<div class="customers-say">
<div class="customers-say__reviews">
<div>{loadmoduleid 102}</div>
</div>
</div>

Admittedly this is very much dependant on your reason for having the flex container.
