One of my customers would like me to continue using the Kontact template when I upgrade their website to Joomla 3.x. I'll do that when support for 2.5 ends, I think after the end of 2014. Will you be upgrading Kontact? Mountain Pine and Atlas are 2 other templates I hope to upgrade to 3.x.

Hi David

The Joomla 3 version of your template has been sent to you in reply to your email.

I would also be grateful to receive a copy of Atlas 51 for J3 - but I can't find an e-mail address to request it from you. As you can imagine, having to redirect every element of a site to new template location references is a huge task - which leads me to make 2 statements:

1. I would happily pay for template updates required to move between major Joomla releases which break compatibility.
2. I would not knowingly purchase anything from a developer who does not intend to offer me updates for my purchases in order to remain compatible with the latest version of Joomla! Working with a new template on a new site is fine - changing a template on a fully developed website is a nightmare.

Cheers,

David.

Hello

Some of our older templates have been removed due to lack of interested and features. Regardless please send and email linking this post to info@joomla51.com and we will forward the Joomla 3.x version of our Atlas and Mountain Pine templates.

And I see today that Mountain Pine has been removed from your list of templates. CAn I assume that means it will never be upgraded to Joomla 3.x?

Hi Elaine

Yes although I admit we are a little behind schedule on this. You can expect the Joomla 3.x version of these templates to be available in the next couple of weeks.

I won't be upgrading the Kontact website to Joomla 3.x, but hope to do so on sites using Mountain Pine and Atlas. I probably won't get to it for a month, are you still planning to upgrade the templates? When I use Firebug's Net panel, I see some issues on Atlas that need modification - i.e., GET sidepanel.css
Thanks

Hello

We would be hoping to update all templates currently available within our catalogue to Joomla 3.x prior Joomla support ending for 2.5.
