Hello Joomla friends,

someone has an idea why when inserting a "Continue Reading Button" the footer is displayed in the content width and not over the monitor width as with all other posts or menu items.

Thank you for your hints.
Regards
Axel

Hello

It looks like you may have an unclosed div in one of your articles as your template footer is been rendered inside your component area. Try disabling each article one by one until the issue is resolved, therefore indicating the offending article.

Hi Ciaran,
I deleted the post and re-placed it again - I had made this ready once, but now the problem is fixed.

Thank you for your support, Ciaran!

Sorry, Axel, but I cannot see any difference apart from the viewport width.

Anyway, without the URL (and maybe some other important information like Joomla version) it is very difficult to support you.

Hi Dautrich,

here the direct link to the article page. If you look at other posts under the other menu items, hopefully the footer problem becomes clearer - I use the current Joomla version.
Thank you for your support.

Hi Axel

the issue doesn't seem to be related to the "Read more ..." button. If you click on "Impressum", you will see the same effect.

Do you have two different template styles or a child template in place?

Hi Rolf,
No, I didn't. Before when the problem occurred on this page, I was able to fix this display problem by reinstating the post. This one didn't work.

Rolf, at the imprint page, the footer in monitor width is displayed, as intended...!
