Hello

This is the article/component area of your template. Linking to an article, that article will appear in this area of the template.

For the images below the article area we used the ImageLinkHover module included with your download and placed it in to any of the bottom-1# module positions.

Hello

In Joomla to display an article you must first create a menu item linking to that article. From your Joomla administration navigate to Menus -> [YourMenu] -> New. In the 'Menu Item Type you can select 'Articles -> Single Article', selecting your article. On the same page set the 'Default Page' to yes to make this menu item your homepage.

I have managed to link an article to home page's component position, but i can't rid off the "getting started" the link after the slide show.

Hello

This link appears to be inside your article? You can edit your article from within your 'Article Manager' (Articles -> Article Manager -> Getting Started).

the article is not "getting started" but it is a different article (NEVO) and the article doesn't contain the link, so i have not idea where the link is coming from. the original component's position had a "getting started" article was on, but i have repalced with the NEVO page.

That is strange. If you wish you can send temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine where this link is coming from. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
