Substance- Styles & Templates

Hi,
I've almost concluden a web for my client. He would like to see now a slightly different design which would include some different colours in some places, new module positions occupied and some more things, which will probalbly require me to modify template css code.
I was thinking of cloning my web, and working on the clone, so as I could show both versions to my client.
However, I think I might do this by copying my current template and, set this as default in order to compare with the first one (which I would set as default when requiered for comparisson)
I do not know what "styles" are so I do not know if styles would be a better solution.
Anyway, would you clone the web or copy the template with another name, or use styles (which I do not know what they are for)'
What would you do?

Hello

Presuming I understand you correctly I would suggest cloning your template rather than creating a new style although either would probably work. A style is simply a set of saved settings for your template. For example you can have a saved style of your Substance template with no background image set, which you can assign to your homepage and another style with a background image for the rest of your pages.
