In looking through the demos for various templates, I find that sometimes I prefer one of the six "Example Styles" in terms of colors, etc. I assumed at first that these functioned like "Color Packs" included with other Joomla templates I've purchased in the past. You click on a menu to select the blue version, the green version, the tan version, etc. and immediately the template changes color. You change your mind, click a different choice, and again, instant different color scheme. (like on the "Styles" tab of the demo.)
It appears that this is not the case in implementing the Joomla51 "Styles" - that rather, these are examples of the "endless variety" of styles one can create oneself with the styling options in the template. You mention in the tutorials that you can create different styles to use on various pages. But, other than the default style, it appears that having alternate styles available is a "do it yourself" project. Which has it's pros and cons, compared with the "color pack" model.
The major "pro" of this system is the "endless variety" made possible, so each resulting site is absolutely unique (a nice feature). The major con is - Hunting and pecking through infinite color combinations can be overwhelming for someone like me who doesn't have a design background. At least, as a starting place, it would be helpful to know the codes for the selected colors in each style in the demo, for initial guidance. What's the best process you would recommend to replicate the look and colors of a given style on the demo?
