Stop module background image replicating and

Hello,

Why does the background image that I insert via (module/options/select background) always replicate itself in the showcase position?

Also, if I choose to use a background image in the style template (replacing current) how do I keep it from scrolling.

or

allow modules to overlay

But, I think my preference is the first.. I have content overlay using image background image in module. Thanks
