Stockholm - category blog not responsive

Hello

I'm trying to add in product images with a button (this is not a online shop) as per the layout on http://dev.web-guru.co.za/pawnshop/i-want-to-buy/appliances-menu.

Tables didn't work as it kept losing its responsive settings (imported from Dreamweaver into Joomla articles). I tried using div tags, as per your suggestion - works but comes up as not mobile friendly on https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/ > error content wider than screen.

Have now set it up as a category blog - and it still says the content is wider than screen.

Please can you give me a suggestion how to get around this. I literally need a main header with 4 columns underneath (one to hold text and a button, the other 3 to hold images).

Not sure if this issue is related to your table. Are you having the same message from Google on other pages? What is the purpose of the following Custom CSS... 


#header {

    width: 920px;

}


A fixed width on any element will push outside the screen on smaller screens.

SPOT ON! It is that setting.

If I remove it - it takes my coloured main menu section right across the page and I want it to be the same width as my base ie. 920px wide.

A more responsive alternative to your CSS would be the following...

    width: 100%;

    max-width: 920px;

}
