Hi Guys,
fairly new to the joomla joy.
Just purchased and d/l'd template - specialize.

the param.ini file was missing (or so it seems), i replaced with a blank, however no parameters available of course.

Was there supposed to be a param.ini filed included for the template Specialise and if so, were can I get it?

Cheers,
C

additional details:

image attached shows param.ini file is writable (this is the blank file that has been saved into the dir to enable the template to become somewhat functional).
image also shows no parameters available, which according to the .pdf help file provided with the d/l, should have some?????

joomla native templates work perfectly.

-building on local host. no where near ready to go live, cannot link to my site sorry (nothing to see anyway).
- joomla 2.5
- running osx mt lion
- safari 6.0.1

hope this helps,
help asap would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Claire.

Hi Claire

From your screenshot you appear to be using Joomla 1.5 which I'm sorry to say is not compatible with our Specialize template. Although the template may install to Joomla 1.5 you will have a large number of issues through out the template including no visible parameters.

Since Joomla 1.7 template parameters are stored in the database and no longer stored in the params.ini.
