Hi,
i'm using the J51_Substance template.
I've a big problem with the social media icons: it's not possible delete the address in the "rss feed", "twitter" or "facebook" field, like explaine in the instruction item.
Every time i've tried to do this, when i've clicked "save" button, the default address (joomla51) is reappeared and icons didn't disappear from top position. :(
I'm working on a localhost site.

Please help me.

Thanks.

Stefano

Hi Ciaran,

thanks for your replay, but it's not my case.

I'm using the template in correct way and the only problem is when i try to delete the address inside a field of social media icons.
For example: i don't want to use facebook media link, so i clean the relative address field in the "media icons tab"; when i save the change, the template put again the joomla51 address in the field deleted.
I have the same situation when i try to delete the twitter field. Only this two....

It's a very strange situation.

BR,

Stefano

Hi,

i've just uploaded the site on a test free hosting server.
The address is:
http://www.testoni.netsons.org/Joomla/index.php
As you can see in the upper side, there are 4 logos:
- RSS feed (i'm not able to disable it; if i clean the field in the template "social media...", after saving, the field is completed again with "http://www.joomla51.com/rss";).
- TWITTER (same as above).
- FACEBOOK (same problem as described above).
- LINKEDIN (i've leave it blank...)

For example, the BLOGGER field works fine; it works as described in the template, so if it is filled in, it's visible in the upper side of the site, but if it is blank, disappear from the top side of the site.

Can you help me, please?

BR,
Stefano
