I use Polaris,
How can I get the Social-Icons as a roll-over button like in the demo of Polaris?

Hi Angelique

Your social icons can be set within your templates parameters. From your Joomla administration navigate to Extensions -> Template Manager -> [YourTemplate] -> Options -> Social Icons and enter the URL to your social media page in the relevant field(s).

Hi Ciaran,
Thank you for your anwer, but I think my question isn't clear.
I meant: how can I create a roll- over button like in the demo Polaris for my email button. (Sorry, I said Social Icons, but meant email) What you have in the bottom of Polaris in the white part. I hope my question is clear now.....

Hi Angelique

This is an icons module that you will find included in the same folder of your template install file in your download called mod_j51icons.zip.

I know where to find those icons, because I made already 3 of them. But when I go with the mouse over the icon, it will not change like in the demo Polaris. There changes the icon when you go over the icon with your mouse. A blue circle appears around the icon. And that's what I want too........

Hi Angelique

The hover effect will only appear if there is a URL link set to the icons. An option to set a URL is available within your modules parameters.

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you

The hover effect of the icons is the same color as the icons themselves. As this was set to white the hover effect could not be seen against the white background. Changing your icons to a darker color has resolved the issue :)
