Numerous instances of your Thumbs Gallery module (or indeed any module) can be created by navigating to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New -> J51 Thumbs Gallery.
Do you wish to place your module within the article or have it placed within a module position on the same page as a particular article?
I have a historical article per year.
and I would like a small photo gallery under each article. (3 or 4 images)
and a link to a big photo gallery for each year.
It is possible however you may mind other 3rd party extensions better suited for this.
You would have to create a new instance of the module for each of your articles and then assign the module to the article via the 'Menu Assignment' options within your modules parameters.
Is it possible to have the specific gallery related to the article, not to a specific menu.
with the command loadmodule for example, or with another method.?
The loadmodule method can be used with the thumbs gallery module or indeed any Joomla module. This would involve creating a module for each of your articles and then placing the loadmodule anchor text in your articles.
There is no syntax specific for the ThumbsGallery module. The same process for adding a module to a Joomla article will be the same regardless of the module you are using. For details on adding a module to a Joomla article may I suggest the following articles..
