Hi there

This is probably a stupid novice question, but I have completed my site some time ago (oct last year) using the clarity template and took special care to ensure that my keywords featured in headings and body text and all the other things that you have to think about with SEO. My url is http://www.personalisedprints.net. However, even when I search in google for 'personalised prints' my site is no where to be found. This is the same for most of my keywords.

Is there anything that I need to 'switch on' in the template that maybe I haven't done, as I am at a loss as to why my site just isn't showing up, and its a last ditched hope that it might be something template related.

Thank you once again

Hi Ruth

Sorry to say there is only so much we can do from a template point of view to improve your Google ranking. Everything that can be done is part of your template by default.

Although good keywords etc will help you somewhat the bulk of Googles focus will be on the quality and quantity of your content, in particular with recent Google updates. A good place I find to start is to check out what sites do rank for your keywords, analyse what it is they do and then try and do it better. :)

Following are some articles that might be worth reading on Googles latest update (Hummingbird)..

A quick search on 'Google Hummingbird' will give you plenty more.
