Search in Florence template

I have placed the template search module in the header 1 position. The problem is that the search module is white and that the characters also seem to be white. In this way you can't see what you are typing. You're in the bilnd then. When hitting enter it does the search perfectly

When I move the search module to e.g. position Base-2a teh characters become black.

How to I resolve this?

To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (edit to taste)...


.header-1 .search-query, .header-2 .search-query {

    color: #000000;

}

How you have added the CSS is correct. Could I ask you to try the following instead... 


.header-1 .search-query, .header-2 .search-query {

    color: #000000 !important;

}
