Hi there,

I use the Scarlett template, since the upgrade to Joomla version, 3.7.0 - the LayerSlideShow doesn't work anymore. I can not change the images anymore.

(image attached) - Is there an upgrade for this?

website: http://justweddingentertainment.com.au/newjoom/index.php/x

Thanks in advance!

Hello

To amend this issue update your LayerSlideshow module to the latest download from your Joomla51 'My Downloads'. To update simply install the latest module install file via your Extensions Manager.

Hi Ciaran,

I have installed the latest module file via Extensions Manager - but it didn't work. Should I uninstall the old module and then reinstall the new module? or should I reinstall the template again? - pls see image attached.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you

Originally the Scarlett LayerSlideshow module used the Joomla 'Repeatable' subform (https://docs.joomla.org/Repeatable_form_field_type). The is that this form has been deprecated and is been replaced by https://docs.joomla.org/Special:MyLanguage/Subform_form_field_type

Updating your module to use the new subform field mean all your field information will be lost and you will need to re setup each module. Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue however you have quite a few of the.

Alternatively we can replace the image field with a text field and you set the images manually? This would mean old field information would not be lost.

Hi Ciaran,

I have emailed you my reply as it may be a little more complicated than what I have originally expected.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello

To install the 3.7 compatible LayerSlideshow module navigate to your Joomla51 'My Downloads' and re download your Scarlett template bundle. From the bundle install the mod_j51layerslideshow.zip via your Joomla Extensions Manager. Once installed navigate to each instance of your LayerSlideshow module (Module Manager) a reset the images for each module.
