Hi,

I have a running Joomla v5 installation and have downloaded the Kaylee template and want use the sample data.
Following the instructions unfortunately just broke everything and the only solution was to start from scratch again.
Is there a way of uploading just the sample data, and not starting from scratch with a v4 demo?

thanks

Hello

Sorry to say the template demo content is only available within the template demo installer which creates a new installation of Joomla. Presuming I understand you correctly, it is not possible to import the demo content in to an existing Joomla installation.

Ok - Thanks. I have followed that path and then updated to Joomla v5. It seems to work but I have found some oddities , like have to reset/add an editor, and the offline image is not shown.

Hello

Thank you for bring the offline logo image issue to our attention. We have just created a new update to the template resolving this issue. This latest update is available via your Joomla51 template downloads.

Could you please detail the issue regarding your editor?

Hi,

Thanks - Offline image now works - however there is no automatic sizing - it displays the "as is" size. See attached screen shots.

Re Editor. It may just be the way I did things or misunderstanding of v5, but before the update if I went to edit a module I could clearly see the content and could toggle the editor, as you would expect.
After the update to v5 when I went to edit a module the content was not visible and toggling the editor has no effect. I then added another editor (JCE) went to the global configuration and chose this to be the default. it was Tinymce). It works , I now see and can edit content, however no toggling editors (not that I want to.).

Hi Paul

To amend set max offline image width try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

(Edit to taste)

.offline-wrapper > * > img {
max-width: 200px;
height: auto;
width: auto;
}
